You want a view of the majestic mountains? Glenbrook certainly has that and more! The neighbourhood was partly annexed to Calgary in 1954. The rest followed in 1956. It was officially established as a neighbourhood in 1958.
Glenbrook is conveniently located near some shops and restaurants. But it is also surrounded by major roads, which make other commercial centres more accessible. The neighbourhood is bordered by 26 Avenue S to the north, Richmond Road to the south, 37 Street W to the east, and Sarcee Trail to the west.
Glenbrook also has a dynamic community organization that makes sure there are a lot of productive activities for the students in the area. It is also served by a number of schools: Glenbrook Elementary, St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary, Calgary Christian, A. E. Cross Junior High, and St. Gregory Elementary and Junior High.
