Just south of the Trans-Canada Highway is the residential neighbourhood of Rosedale. It is flanked by 4th and 10th Street NW. It is a great place to call home as Avenue Magazine once ranked it as third best neighbourhood in Calgary.
Just south of Rosedale is McHugh Bluff Park, a large urban park along the northern bank of Bow River. This large area was home to one of the earliest entrepreneurs in Calgary, Felix McHugh, from whom the property was named after. The park is an important place among commuters, joggers and dog walkers.
Rosedale also has its own public schools: Rosedale Elementary and Rosedale Junior High. The area is also near the Jubilee CTrain Station.
