Rosemont was annexed to Calgary in 1910 and was officialy established as a neighbourhood in 1958. It is bordered to the north by Northmount Drive, Avenue N to the south, Cambrian Drive to the east, and 14 Street W to the west.
To the south of Rosemont is Confederation Park, one of the most popular parks in Calgary. It is a famous backdrop for many weddings. It has picnic tables, toboggan hills, tennis courts, and even baseball diamonds--it has everything families and friends would need to bond.
Rosemont is easy on the eyes, too, with its spectacular views of the mountains as well as downtown Calgary. The neighbourhood is also served by Rosemont Elementary public school.
