Imagine living in a place with a backdrop of a gorgeous lake. That’s exactly what you can expect at Sylvan Lake, a town on the southeast edge of the eponymous lake. The body of water is a 15-kilometre freshwater lake.
The lake itself is a tourist attraction with around a million visitors every year. The visitors swim, water-ski, or drop by the nearby Camp Woods. The town is also home to Pogadl Park, which is home to the Sylvan Lake Gulls that play in the Western Canadian Baseball League.
